I sit up late into the night, gazing at it, rubbing its textured bits, placing it in different lights, being with it in a kind of profound delight–or is it “awe”? As Paul says, I now have a personal icon. Its wild cries echo in my heart, singing our Creator’s boundless love. The Loon has entered the deep place in my soul (or carried me to it). There without words or analysis, I feel the goodness of our Redeemer and touch the hem of His garment. I don’t know how I can ever thank you adequately–may He bless you!
